Singer Gloria Trevi undergoing more dental surgery after injury
Mexican singer Gloria Trevi, famous for such songs as “Pelo Suelto” and “Zapatos Viejos,” injured herself last month when she took a bad fall while she was exiting an airplane. She suffered facial trauma, cracked several teeth and underwent dental surgery, but now she needs to undergo further surgery and has canceled concerts that were scheduled in Chihuahua and Ciudad Juarez.
According to Trevi’s publicist, the singer “will undergo an operation and endodontic treatment and will have to comply with the doctor’s instructions to prevent complications.”
Trevi is scheduled to return to work on Aug. 23, and in early September she will visit Las Vegas on her singing tour to promote her latest album, Gloria.
